About us and Alpaca Fleece & Fibre Sales

Situated in the heart of the wool industry we have forged links with some of the biggest fibre processing mills in the UK. We are a private initiative concentrating on British Alpaca Fibre Sales and buying. We are not linked to any one mill and free to seek out the best prices and sales for British Alpaca. We pride ourselves on being the largest alpaca fleece dealers in the UK but still able to offer a bespoke service to anyone with a single fleece through to those breeders with hundreds of alpacas. We also process some of the fibre through our own mill  at Alpaca Comfort Ltd

Our aim is develop a sustainable fleece industry for the UK breeders. With logistical organisation we can bring together large fleece quantities. We are trying to make a profit but also ensure UK alpaca breeders get the best prices possible for their fleeces.   

We do not publicise high fleece prices that most breeders cannot acheive. We publicise a realistic price across a broad range of fleece that means more breeders will receive realistic values for their fleece. Equally, if all your herd is sub 22 micron then contact us for our top prices.   

We have recognised that volume is the key to a succesful fleece industry. We act as a collection point for fleece from all over the UK. Once we have sufficient fleece we can approach the mills and negotiate for top prices. We also grade and sort fleece prior to despatch to the mills to ensure they are getting the best product as advertised. Keep an eye on our fleece prices as these will no doubt change over time.
